LCD 16x4 problem

Hi, I am using 16x4 LCD. Everything is good. I am using CCS library lcd420.c. The problem is while I write on it.
It first write on line 1 then line 3 then line 2 and at last line 4.

Some characters also missed between line 3 and line 2.

Why does it happen?

If you have a problem with an LCD, always post the manufacturer and
part number of the LCD. Post a link to the website where you bought it,
and to the website for the lcd data sheet.

Also post your compiler version.
