USB bootloaders - general
PostPosted: Tue Feb 01, 2011 9:26 am     Reply with quote

I'm just designing a new PCB using the 18f4550 chip. In the near future I want to implement a USB bootloader and I'm trying to find out if any hardware tweaks are required to force the chip into bootloader mode.

I'm an occasional programmer so would like the least painful implementation even if this means paying for a third party utility. I don't want to get bogged down in getting this to work.

Any information would be appreciated.
