MPFS image in eeproms - fixed
PostPosted: Sun Nov 21, 2010 7:34 am     Reply with quote

Hello,

I have a tcpip webserver project in pic 18f4620 and pass all webpages from rom pic to eeprom with MPFS image, but I get always 500 error in browser.
I create the image by: "mpfs /b /r0 /ll ../pages mpfsimg.bin" get +/- 5k and flashed it in 24c64 (8kbytes eeprom). I try to debug what goes on the don't show the page.
I try to make some debug about this e get MPFS_INVALID.
i set #define MPFS_WRITE_PAGE_SIZE (32)
i set #define MPFS_START_POSITION 0
I try by ftp to write the image, he uplaods, but get the same error.
I tested write and read from eeprom and he works.
Is correct writing the mpfsimg.bin image in eeprom by one eeprom programmer?

Please point me in the correct way.
Regards,
Vasco Santos

good news, now i can read a web page, but have errors, seams that some of the code was removed, i redefine with 32:

#define MPFS_START_POSITION 32

with "mpfs /b /r0 /ll ../pages mpfsimg.bin"

and a web page shows up good Smile

but some html and images code was missed, when page show up, there is any var that can limit more the MPFS_START_POSITION ?

Fixed.

Just comment the old value of:
Code:

#define MPFS_RESERVE_BLOCK   (END_OF_MPFS_POINTER+4)

and sets
Code:
#define MPFS_RESERVE_BLOCK  0
