PIC12F617
PostPosted: Wed Feb 10, 2010 2:04 pm     Reply with quote

Mchip recently added the PIC12F617 to their line of 14 bit parts. The CCS compiler device list does not have this part but does have the PIC12F615. The 617 has twice the rom and ram of the 615 so I tried using device editor to create a device file for the 12F617. I have made several attempts but the ram reads jumbled when I run code built using the edited file. In the selector it comes back with the correct 2048 rom and 128 ram but does not seem to compile the ram locations correctly. If I compile the code for a PIC12F615 it works on the 617 fine. Has anyone generated a working device file for the PIC12F617?
Thanks.
