ICD-U40: Chip not detected. Please help
PostPosted: Fri Mar 26, 2010 11:29 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I'm beginner in PIC. I'm using CCS Device programmer for my PICDEM 4 DEMO board. I built the project in PICW, but the CCS Device Programmer doesn't recognize my chip. My target is PIC16F877. Connection, Reading from chip, Erasing Chip are OK, but writing to chip is failed. When I click on Test i get the following error: Chip not detected, ID=3FFF. I followed the tutorial to set up the board for ICD, but it still now working ...
With my RFID device it works fine. Can somebody help me ? Thanks
