U-64 compatible with PIC18F67J50? |

I am having a problem with the U-64 ICD. Compiler version is 4.099. I did try 4.100, but then my ICD2 will not work. So I will describe the problems with 4.099
With a PICDEM 2 board (PIC18lf4550) both the U-64 and ICD-2 function fine.
With a Olimex LCD3310 board (PIC18F67J50) the ICD-2 functions fine (with Vpp limiter), but the U-64 gets a target detect error.
On CCSLOAD, I get a Target Device ID mismatch.
Read: 00101011000XXXXX
Expect: 01000001100XXXXX
I’ve checked the Olimex board. It had a cap from MCLR to ground, which I removed, to no effect. The pullup to Vcc is 10K on this board, but being the ICD2 was fine with it, I didn’t change it and in any case, the PICDEM2, which the U-64 works fine with, has a lower value pull up on MCLR. RB6 and RB7 seem to be unloaded on the schematic.
Any thoughts here? |

Just give this a try:
If you use CCSLOAD 4020.
* Close all CCS application!
* Then rename "devices4p.dat" to ex. "devices4p.dat_old".
if this is not working, try to use a "devices4.dat" from a older version. This fix my problem with 18F26Jxx. |
