Is there a way with a single keypress/click of a button that could: CLEAN / COMPILE / BUILD ALL / PROGRAM CHIP ?

Which IDE are you using? CCS or MPLAB?

In MPLAB under "Project / Build Options / Project / Custom Build" there is an option for a Post-Build Step. Place here a call to your programming tool. For example the PicKit2 has a separate command line interface tool you can call from here.
