Hi,

what is the max. RS232 Baud rate I can run with a PIC 18F6723 (Hardware RS232) clocked with a 10MHz crystal? Is there a simple way to calculate this?

Yes - it is in the data sheet from Microchip - check that.....

You can also Google around and find calculators on the Web - but I suggest that you figure it out from the data sheet - that way you will understand how the hardware works, which is very useful skill to have.

Also be sure to check the Errata on the part as the USART may have issues that are not on the data sheet.
