Has anyone successfully gotten a C328R-2820BW (or a variation) to work with a PIC? The C328 has a 4-wire interface: 3.3VDC, TXD, RXD, and Gnd. It runs on a serial interface at serial interface rates up to 115kbps.
I was thinking of trying to connect the camera to the serial port of a PIC and write the image data to an SD card connected to the SPI port.
Has anyone done anything like this? |

Thanks for the links. I was actually looking for someone that had experience in interfacing the camera to a PIC. There are supposed to be some subtleties to the interface for communication, etc.
Has anyone interfaced this camera to a PIC?
How do you re-assemble a downloaded image into a .jpg image viewable on a PC? Is it just a matter of downloading a .jpg compressed image from the camera and storing it onto a memory card with a .jpg file extension? |

I assume that this is the same camera as the ITM-C328 digital colour camera? Takes jpegs and allows RS232 comms to control it.
Done the whole lot for a recent customer project - I save to ram and then upload the picture to an ftp site?
If so, let me know |
