Question About IrDa - PPM Code
PostPosted: Wed Sep 17, 2008 9:41 am     Reply with quote

Hello 2 all !
I am a newbie in the field of embedded systems.
I have a project in which i try to send commands, through a TSOP1738 IrDa receiver, to a pic18f452. I've seen that in the Code Library there is an example for a Sony remote. I've also found the article about timers which is posted on this forum, most informative.
However, the circuit in my remote control is a TT6221 remote controller transmitter, which uses the PPM technique for transmitting the IR data.

My question would be this: Can I use the Sony remote example from the code library, by altering the timing of the "0" and "1" or do I need to use some other technique for receiving the data from my remote ?
Can you provide me with a link that would help me to solve this problem?

Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions !! Wink
