PIC18F452 memory storing!
PostPosted: Wed Sep 03, 2008 7:11 pm     Reply with quote

I badly need help in this!

I'm currently doing a project and it involves the storing of numbers.

I need the program to read the number when the power is on and store the numbers when the power is off.

I have no idea what are the codes for it.

Please help. Crying or Very sad

Look at these routines which get numbers from a terminal program:
Code:
get_int()
get_int32()
get_float()

The routines are in this file:
Quote:
c:\program files\picc\drivers\input.c

Then look at the write_eeprom() and read_eeprom() functions in
the CCS manual:
http://www.ccsinfo.com/downloads/ccs_c_manual.pdf

Look at this FAQ article which explains how to store a floating point
number in eeprom:

Then what about to store?
Will it store the numbers?
'Cos I have a reset function too.

Actually this works like a safebox.
Whereby it can read, store, delete, rewrite numbers.

Look at the write_eeprom() function in the CCS manual.

Look at the FAQ article that you were given a link to.
