Have you used Google?

The Optrex DMC-50461N is a 4x20 character LCD module from a Lexmark laser printer. It uses a 6 pin connector for communication with the other electronics. It seems like the protocol for this serial (?) connection is hard to find.

Gerhard at a German forum took another route: http://www.mikrocontroller.net/topic/91579
Instead of figuring out the protocol Gerhard removed the Philips controller with dedicated firmware and then used thin wires to connect a PIC processor to the Mitsubishi LCD driver chips. Datasheets for the Mitsubishi chips can be found on the internet.

Gerhard posted a demo program for the CCS compiler in: http://www.mikrocontroller.net/topic/92463
