mmc and 16 series pic

Hi

I want to implement a mmc into a design. I was wondering if there is a way to achieve this using a pic 16f917. I know that a mmc requires at least 512bytes of ram (to send one block is 512bytes) on the pic which the 16f does not have. Can anyone think of a way to interface a mmc to a 16 series pic?
