DSPIC30F6010A and #FUSE
PostPosted: Fri Dec 21, 2007 10:03 am     Reply with quote

I am trying to get correct FUSE for the oscillator on a DSPIC30F6010A.

I want to run HS on primary osc.

But when I use the following fuse

#FUSES LP //Low power osc <200> 4mhz)
#FUSES HS
#FUSES NOCKSFSM //Clock Switching is disabled, fail Safe clock monitor is disabled

The CCS compiler turns on the low power 32khz osc option.

I also tried to coment out the first line, but the MPLAB then tells me that the config words are wrong.

Any ideas?

Try using the 'PR' fuse. CCS says that this fuse is required as long as the
primary oscillator is used. The FRC does not need this fuse.
