PIC18F ADC
PostPosted: Tue Jun 12, 2007 8:55 am     Reply with quote

Hi,

I'm new to the PIC18Fxxx and I would like to know if the ADC can be
configured like the ADC's from the PIC16Fxxx ?

For example, may I use them as 8-Bit ADC or is it not possible?

My target is to connect a MCP9701A temperature-sensor directly to the PIC.

Bye, dhesg

Yes, you can use it the same way as with 16F, and you can also set
it for 8-bit mode. Here's an example (for 16F) that shows how to set it
for 8-bits.
