RA4 and RA5 on the PIC16F690
PostPosted: Thu Apr 26, 2007 1:22 pm     Reply with quote

I cannot seem to get RA4 or RA5 to act as general I/O.
I think it has something to do with the internal oscelator.
any Ideas?

RA0-RA2 work fine and RA3 as input is also fine.

Make sure your #FUSES include INTRC_IO. This will enable the internal oscillator and have RA4 & RA5 as general I/O.
