Hi everybody,
I need users experience with CCS PCWH.
I would like to purchase the CCS PCWH compiler for production use and I would like to know what are your experiences with latest versions? is it sufficiently stable to be usable for production code?
Most of my work will be done on 18Fxx series and some of it will be on PIC16xx series.
I have found on Microchip C18 compiler witch is close in price to PCWH, but PCWH is more attractive because it works for PIC16 series and because it hase very high number of drivers.
So what's your opinion?
PS. Please, I do not want a comparison between the two compilers, I know C18 from Microchip and it's bugs and stability level. I want to know more about PCWH stability and quality!

What do you think about CCS 4.32
I guess you want to refer to CCS Version 4.032
Did you read the dedicated "Sticky" thread in the top:"Version 4 Comments"?
there you will find the most complete opinions of many users.

There seems to have a lot of problems with first versions of 4.xx. but what about last two versions for example? in the mentionned discussion it seems that 4.031 is better than others. Is 4.032 good enought? I know that it can have bug in any compiler and that CCS is very active at correcting them quickly. _________________ http://www.pocketmt.com the GLCD Font Creator home
