PICSTART Plus problems with 18F2220
PostPosted: Wed Feb 02, 2005 5:57 pm     Reply with quote

Hi,

I'm using PICSTART Plus, already updated to the newest version. I know that it is a beta version for programming on PIC18F2220, but I have to use it. The problem is when I programmed it, sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't. Now, it's not working even on a brand new PIC18F2220. I think I'm missing something here. Could anyone show me what I can do to be able to write on 18F2220 with what I have?

For more information, I'm using CCS compiler and write to chip by using MPLab IDE.

Thanks in advance.

I posted this link to your same question on the main forum.

If you're using a beta version of Microchip software, then you
are a Beta Tester. You should report any bugs to Microchip
on their forum.

Go to the programmer's forum, right here,
http://forum.microchip.com/tt.asp?forumid=15
open an account and post the details about your problem.

1. Your operating system (XP, Win2K, etc).
2. The versions of MPLAB, the PicStart-Plus firmware, etc.
3. The silicon version of the PIC. (may need ICD2 to get this).
etc.
