Warp13a programmer 16C771 adapter question

I suspect my Dataman programmer does not program the fuses properly, or at least does not read or verify them properly. So I want to use my back-up Warp13A programmer for the PIC16C771. The Newfound electronics web site says it supports this chip with an adapter, but I can't find any info on the adapter.
Do I simply need to parallel the two VDDs and the two VSSs and drop it in the ZIF socket, or is there somthing more?

I dug through my Warp13 help file and found the following information:

On this page here, about half-way down the page, they talk about
how to modify the Warp13a to program these PICs. You also need
to use their programmer software, and not MPLAB.

That page does have a typo.

At the top of the page it says this:
16C770, 16C771, 16C781, 16C782, 20-pin DIP PICs

But the section title says this:
16C770, 16C711, 16C781, 16C782, 20-pin DIP PICs
It should be 771.
