Hi, I have a problem with ICDU-40.
When I try to program a device using ICDU-40 from within PCWH (ver:3.158) I get an ICD error that says unrecognized file format.
Any help would be appreciated.

What is the format of the file you are trying to burn? |

How have you created the HEX file? Open it in a text editor and make sure the format is correct. Or since you have PCW use the dis-assembler (Tools menu) to dis-assemble the file and see if it is in the right format. |

The Hex file is OK because I can program it in the DEvice if I run the ICDU programmer as a stand-alone program (not within PCWH). |

In the Option menu check the File Formats. From CCS bugfix list:
3.160 Some COFF debug file problems are resolved
3.177 Some debugger and ICD programming issues have been resolved
Change your debug file format and recompile. This might help. |
