ICD-S debug errors
PostPosted: Mon Feb 23, 2004 12:48 pm     Reply with quote

Can anyone Help???

I am using the CCS c compiler with the ICD-S module.

I can't seem to download and debug on my hardware, which was previously working.

I get error various errors:

Verify Memory fail : 0
Verify Memory fail : 2004

sometimes I get an error that says the debugger may not be installed.

I can download and debug on the CCS prototype board.

Any help????

I thought I would answer my own question in the event that it might help someone else with similar problems.....

I am using a switching power supply that was mounted just under the pcb with the target processor. Electromagnet interference from the power supply caused the communication/operation problems I experienced with the debugger. Phyically moving the power supply some distance away from the pcb solved the problem and everything seems to run fine now...

Maybe this will help someone else....
