PCW which version?

Hi all

I have PCW 3.129 and I need to upgrade to take advantage of the new 16F767 chips.

My question is - what version will be my best option with regards to bugs and backward compatability with previous programs mainly written for 16F and 12F families.

The CCS website always allows you to download several versions. It is not stated on the website but the newest release is to be considered a beta release. Only use this release if you need the new added features.
There is also an older release, currently 3.191, which is considered to be 'stable'. Use this version for serious projects. As far as I know the 3.191 version has no large bugs.
