external flash memory for PIC18Fxxxx

Hi all,

At the moment i am searching for users that used the external memory interface for the large PIC 18F8(720) series

What are your experiences with them? expecially with the CCS compiler

i use AT45DB321B 16Mb from ATMEL

Thank you for your reaction,

but i mean not a SPI device!
I'll try to extend my flash program memory with 2MB by using the address and data bus.

Hi

I am trying do the same thing.. read and write external flash... can you give some idea... I just fish the hardware ... when it uild i need have code for it...

First I did was setup_external_memory
then I disable all intrrupt...
write_programe_memory();
......

do I need to set anthing else...

please help me...
